Can depression and anxiety cause insomnia or is it the other way around or perhaps even a bidirectional causal relationship? My hormones must be out of whack too because watching Bambi would make me cry:) and I'm putting on a bit of belly fat too despite working out at the gym pretty regularly. I'm thinking this is all interrelated. Something I found out on my own was to get out of bed and wait until I cant keep my eyes open; then I will get at least some sleep through the night and feel ok in the morning. Doing a crossword puzzle helps me get sleepy. Calming my mind and not thinking about work and life is a challenge, so I just get up and do something until I can shift my focus to something else. I've recently been through a lot of workplace toxicity and work related anxiety (lots of staff turnover but I'm too old to start over otherwise I'd be gone). PS - I go to the gym late in the evening and it will either help or hinder my sleep depending on the level of intensity. Sore muscles keep me awake while tired muscles help me sleep. Anyhow thanks very much!

As I wasn't a big fan of female vocalists at the time. But you rocked my world. When you played at the Wescott Theatre in Syracuse, NY. I cried. Congrats!!
